We’ll travel to Nancy’s Notions in Beaver Dam to get a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility, and still have plenty of time to shop for ‘must have’ items for our projects. After a buffet lunch, we’ll make a brief stop at the EarthShine Candle Outlet, also located in Beaver Dam.

Timeless Galena Spend the day in one of the most historic cities in the Midwest. Established in 1826, and named after the natural mineral form of lead sulfide, Galena was part of a lead mining district established by the government. By the mid-1800s, Galena was the busiest port on the Mississippi River between St. Paul and St. Louis with a population of over 14,000. After some economic ups and downs, Galena is now a well-known tourist destination.
